Reupholster or Buy New furniture?
There generally seems to be a misconception that reupholstering a sofa is more economical then purchasing a new one; when in actuality it normally it’s just the opposite when comparing today’s furniture to custom reupholstering. First, let’s keep in mind that most of the furniture outlets today are selling economical pieces of furniture rather then emphasizing longevity and durability.
There are times though, that we bellieve you should invest in an upholsterer.
1. if you have an antique piece, or a well made hardwood frame (these really last forever)
2. if it is a family piece of furniture or has sentimental value
3. if it is SUPER comfortable
